  • Number of hours

    • Lectures 18.0

    ECTS

    ECTS 1.75

Goal(s)

This course focuses on engineering of information systems dedicated to industrial organisations. It approaches this issue according to two dimensions.
The first dimension is theoretical and provides the methodological basics necessary to information systems engineering. It presents the main approaches for information systems analysis and design.
The second dimension is practical and presents the most known industrial information systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
Then, a practical application of the studied concepts is done within a project defining an industrial information system which restores well the complexity in the engineering process.
Fundamental teaching and project are carried out simultaneously throughout teaching.
