Content(s)

This course should enable students to question the economic and social environment in which they operate. Economic phenomena and theories will be understood as they question the socio-ecological transition. It will therefore be a question of presenting the fundamental notions and theories in order to build a reflection on the transition. 5 main questions will be the subject of the course:
Does growth necessarily harm the environment?
Are markets effective in responding to ecological issues?
Can we finance the socio-ecological transition?
Should we produce and consume locally?
What can the state do for the transition?
