Goal(s)

Refresh students in mathematics to handle the concepts of the course of Analysis more easily.
Support is by definition adapted to the demands and needs of students, but a basic menu is offered, described below.
This menu aims to remind the mathematical concepts and tools of algebra and analysis and to refresh the principles of reasoning which will be very useful for the rest of the schooling.

  • Analysis:
    o Recalls and complements on integral calculation (change of variable, multiple integrals, ...)
    o Normed Vector Spaces: topology and convergence
    o Reminders on series and sequences of functions
    o Fourrier series
  • Algebra:
    o Vector space, linear application, base, kernel and range
    o Matrix calculation: determinant, vectors and eigenvalues,
    o Linear system
    o Group and ring structures

Test

Written exam (N1) whose grade will be integrated to the one of Analysis lecture
