The Safe-Air project, forming part of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alps region’s PAC Ambition 2017-2022 programme has helped develop methods making it possible to intervene at an earlier stage in circuit architecture design in order to guarantee its robustness at minimum cost.

The recent changes in the legislation on collective self-consumption has made it possible to carry out a full-scale experiment, previously reserved for community groups and local authorities, on the university campus in Grenoble. Although this is a first for a university, there are about a hundred similar projects underway in France.

A graduate of Grenoble INP – Ense3 and following a 6-month work placement with LEGI*, Matthias Renaud began his thesis in early October 2022 as part of the Oxalia Industrial Excellence Chair, led by the Grenoble INP Foundation thanks to the patronage of Artelia. He is developing a model aimed at simulating hydro-sedimentary flows around hydraulic facilities down to the smallest scales.
