Unite! for sustainable energy will be held on the 24th of September, from 10 to 11.30 (CET) in English. It will be a joint session interactive session, including students and researchers from each partner university.

Unite! is organising an online hackathon which will take place from 22 to 26 November 2021 (5 to 7pm CET) via online Zoom meetings. It aims at getting together different groups of students of different partners’ universities to work on a collaborative project solution for the University of the Future. You have until November 15th to register and the winner will get to travel to the KTH Royal Institute of Technology Dialogue in March to present the results of the Hackathon.

On 3 November, the first European Unite! University Virtual Fair will take place for all students. This event will be run via a thematic room system on the interactive Spatial Chat platform to discover the training opportunities offered within the Unite! alliance.

Unite! is pleased to welcome two new excellent partners to the alliance. They are Graz University of Technology (Austria) and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland). Both partners share Unite!'s dynamic spirit and approach.

Last November, 16 participants from 7 partner universities participated to solve challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic and higher education in the international hackathon “H@ck your COVID”.

Grenoble INP - UGA, a founding member of the CLUSTER network, which has brought together 12 scientific and technological universities* for the past 30 years, will assume the presidency for the period 2020-2022. For this occasion, the Institute of Engineering and Management will host the CLUSTER general assembly on March 2 and 3. It is also organising two conferences, as part of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (PFUE)** and Grenoble European Green Capital, which will focus on the construction of Europe through alliances of European universities and the contribution of engineering to the challenges of climate change.

Throughout the year, the European university Unite! offers short programs accessible to all its students in every partner university. It gives them the opportunity to discover new learning methods on different subjects, and strengthen their English skills in an international environment.

On March 3rd and 4th 2022, more than 250 students from 38 European universities have gathered for the inaugural session of the European Student Assembly, whose main objective was to make students’ voices heard.

The 5th Unite! Dialogue, “New Horizons”, took place on 8-10 March, hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. The two new future partner universities - Graz University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology - presented themselves to the alliance community and the Dialogue was the first event at which the Horizon 2020 project was fully represented.
