Content(s)

From the characteristics and requirements of distributed applications, this course presents the middleware software used to implement and install distributed applications. Middleware software tools share the characteristics of allowing applications – implemented in different languages and running on heterogeneous hardware and software systems -, to interact and inter-operate to offer a global functionality. The course surveys classical programming models and presents RPC, GWT/javascript, J2EE and associated services. As much as possible, practical exercises will be associated with tutorial presentations.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of object oriented programming languages, operating systems and computer networks. JAVA.

Test
