Goal(s)
The aim of this course is to describe the concepts and tools for studying the dependability of complex systems. It presents models and methods for assessing system reliability and forecasting the occurrence of failures. Hardware and software aspects will be considered

Dependability concepts and measures : reliability, availability, failure rate, failure intensity. Usual distributions in reliability. Reliability of simple non repairable and repairable systems. Structural reliability. Software reliability models.
Prérequis
Bases of Probability (1st year) and Statistics (2nd year).
Written final test, documents allowed.
