Goal(s)

This course will allow students to discover Ethical Finance.
the multiple crisis and the role of finance are presented from an historical point of view.The estimated future of finance will also be considered.
The role of the financial actors is underlined. The transitions (in particular the energy and agricultural ones) and the financial needs will be studdied. The firm social responsibility and its impacts on industrial firms decision process are analyzed. A real case of an investment decision in a textile industry in China will be studied.
Three themes are proposed to the students over the 2019-2020 academic year:
1- Build a multi-factor and multi stakeholders decision software allowing tradeoffs between return and ecological production.
2- Propose risk-return tradeoffs including ethics in a portfolio.
3- Propose a critical analysis of ethical funds.
