Goal(s)

The goal of this module is to guide the students through their first contact with their working environment in the Ensimag. We insist on the Unix operating system which will be the main one used through their studies in the school.

* Internet and e-mail in Ensimag

* Unix command line

* Files hierarchy

* Text editors

* The bash shell

Prérequis
None (although it's preferable to have used a computer before)

Test

An exam (on machines) will take place in November. The grades will be included in the algorithmics module.
