Goal(s)

ce cours a pour but de démystifier complètement la pile TCP/IP en approfondissant toutes ces couches de la couche 2 (Liaison) à la couche 5 (Application) tout en acquérant une expérience concrète à travers les TP.

    • Infrastructure (Access networks, Core networks, ISP hierarchy, Client/Server model, ...)

    • Notion of protocol (basic functions, basic mechanisms), Encapsulation

Resit : 33% of Examen(s) écrit(s) + TP (reported score) and 67% of Examen écrit (Rattrapage Ecrit, 2h)

  • two 2-h mid-term and final exam (E) on the course, with all documents allowed but no equipment allowed
  • A 1h15 practical exam (TP) on the networking labs, one A4 sheet of personal notes allowed.
