We interact with computers mainly through user interfaces designed according to the WIMP model (Windows Icons Mouse Pointer). But this model is not suitable for some interaction contexts such as mobility or group work. The goal of this course is to get a global view of interactions that go beyond the WIMP model. Students who attend this course know the motivations and principles of the main post-WIMP interactions. They are able to identify the interaction that is suitable to a given need, and to design and implement this interaction.
