Goal(s)
We interact with computers mainly through user interfaces designed according to the WIMP model (Windows Icons Mouse Pointer). This course present a state of the Art of novel forms of post-WIMP interactions, with a strong focus on Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
The goal of this course is to get a global view of interactions that go beyond WIMP. Students who attend this course know the motivations and principles of the main post-WIMP interactions. They are able to identify the interaction that is suitable to a given need, and to design and implement this interaction.

- Project: Design, prototyping and implementation of a post-WIMP interaction.
The goal of the project is to face the difficulties that occur when attempting to design a novel post-WIMP interaction that is both usable and useful.
